My Short Stories

Gratuity

What goes around comes around. Hmmm... does this apply to a twenty dollar bill?

Wilde Horses
Just another coming of age story set in that strangest of decades, the seventies. Van art, drive-ins and growing up - where were you in the summer of '78?

The Key
What if you never got to say good-bye, but had the chance to set things right?

Not Their Time
The first story in my time travel triology. A quick trip through the Nevada desert holds a few surprises for a journalist and photographer. But can they prove what happened to them? Do they even want to?

Relative Time
The past obviously effects the future, but can the present effect the past? If time is not linear, then the possibilities are boundless.

One More Time
If you could see how it all turns out, for better or worse; if you could find out how long you have - would you really want to know?

Frankie
Everybody has known a "Frankie" in their lifetime. Out of step, socially awkward, never on the same page - Frankie becomes the butt of people's jokes. Do we judge him too harshly? Could there be more than means the eye?

Value Added
Renovations. Depending on how you react to this word, you may find this story entertaining.

Letting Go
For some reason, whenever I saw a child's glove lying on the ground, it evoked a deep sadness within me. This story is my way of trying to understand that reaction.
