Ever look at those cliché pin-up posters from the ‘40s and ‘50s? As far as I can see, there are three common themes that tie them together as a genre.
1) The wind will always blow the ladies skirt up, especially if she’s carrying something.
2) A shoe heel will more than likely get caught somewhere.
3) If she has a pet, it will be a dog, and “Spot” will be acting up, usually wrapping it’s leash around her leg.
I guess this was all considered risqué back then!
