Rocks - Primal Scream, 1994

Dealers keep dealin’
Thieves keep thievin’
Whores keep whorin’
Junkies keep scorin’
Trade is on the meat rack
Strip joints full of hunchbacks
Bitches keep bitchin’
Clap keeps itchin’

Ain’t no use in prayin’
That’s the way it’s stayin’, Baby
Johnny ain’t so crazy
He’s always got a line for the ladies
(yeah, yeah, yeah)

Get your rocks off
Get your rocks off, honey
Shake it now now
Get ’em off downtown
Get your rocks off
Get you rocks off, honey
Shake it now now
Get ’em off downtown

Creeps keep crawlin’
Drunks keep fallin’
Teasers keep teasin’
Holy joes are preachin’
Cops keep bustin’
Hustlers keep hustlin’
Death keeps knockin’
Souls are up for auction

Ain’t no use in prayin’
That’s the way it’s stayin’, Baby
Johnny ain’t so crazy
He’s always got a line for the ladies

Get your rocks off
Get your rocks off, honey
Shake it now now
Get ’em off downtown
Get your rocks off
Get you rocks off, honey
Shake it now now
Get ’em off downtown

Ain’t no use in prayin’
That’s the way it’s stayin’, Baby
Johnny ain’t so crazy
He’s always got a line for the ladies

Get your rocks off
Get your rocks off, honey
Shake it now now
Get ’em off downtown
Get your rocks off
Get you rocks off, honey
Shake it now now
Get ’em off downtown (repeat to fade)

Primal Scream is a band from Glasgow, Scotland. Named after the therapeutic yelling used in psychotherapy treatment, the band was formed in 1982 by Bobby Gillespie and Jim Beattie. They had only minor success through the 80s, but where introduced to Acid House music in 1988. The band attended raves and took ecstasy, trying to understand the whole movement. Eventually combining the trance-like influence of House Music with their traditional Rock roots paid off for Primal Scream. Screamadelica was a commercial success in 1991, as was the follow-up album Give out But Don't Give Up, featuring this song, Rocks

As for cultural notoriety, Primal Scream's song Movin' on Up was featured on the video game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I just thought that was worth mentioning...
