Okay, okay.... I was finally talked into doing a male figure for a female friend. She wanted to see lots of muscle, and thought that Batman might make a good candidate.

So here here he is, ladies - the Dark Knight!

He is coming to the rescue of some damsel in distress, who seems to be trapped inside a roof-top prison. His muscles strain as he pulls on a rusty chain attached to the cell's heavy door.

Whoever the lady is, she has a nice watch, but seems to be wearing it on her right wrist...

There were a few challenges in this piece, the muscles being the most notable. His body was re-baked about ten times, each after adding on another layer of muscle. Since he had to be leaning back the way he is, I made the base quite heavy to counter the weight.

The chain, by the way, is from a jewelry store. I'm not quite insane enough to make one out of clay!
